Garage Reel for iPhone · Last updated 14 September 2026
Garage Reel does not collect any data. It has no accounts, no servers, no analytics and no third-party code. Nothing you film, type or record leaves your iPhone unless you choose to share it yourself.
Everything Garage Reel creates is written to your iPhone's own storage, inside the app's private container:
None of it is transmitted anywhere. The developer cannot see it, and neither can anyone else.
Garage Reel asks for three permissions, each only when it first needs one, and each used for one thing:
You can refuse or withdraw any of these in iOS Settings. Refusing Photos access does not stop you using the app — you can still share a finished video directly from Garage Reel.
When you save a video to Photos or send it through the iOS share sheet, it leaves Garage Reel and enters whatever app or service you picked. From that point it is covered by that service's privacy policy, not this one.
Garage Reel is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.
Delete the app from your iPhone. Every clip, recording, video, note and setting it created is removed with it — there is no copy held anywhere else, so there is nothing to request and no one to request it from. Videos you had already saved to Photos remain in Photos, under your control.
If a future version of the app ever handles data differently, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the date at the top will change.
